Live the Dream as you take a trip through the deep south for a history lesson in the Blues. Taste the ever-changing styles of BBQ in Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Missouri. Ride the incredible winding roads of the Ozark Mountains.

Amazing Mountain Roads & BBQ

Ride the Pigtail, and listen to the Blues in world famous clubs in Memphis, Jackson, and New Orleans. Spend two days in Fayetteville for the Bikes, Blues & BBQ event in Fayetteville, AR. After the event, see the largest Bass Pro Shop Museum in the world and eat at Lambert’s “Throwed Rolls.” Enjoy amazing back roads the whole way.

Arrive in Nashville the night before the ride to experience a club crawl down Broadway for great music and food. Remember, you’re riding in the morning. Across the street from Ernest Tubbs Record shop is Rays BBQ, which is excellent by any standard.

September riding should be comfortable most of the time with some cold days. Come prepared with both leathers and T-shirts.

Daily Itinerary

Below is your daily itinerary. You will see the planned route as well as what you will see on any given day of the tour. Please be advised that this itinerary can change due to weather, traffic, hotel availability, or other issues.


  • Leave Nashville on a short Interstate ride and then switch over the Natchez Trace Scenic Hwy. This Hwy stretches from Nashville deep into Mississippi. We will take it for a while and then follow the Trail of Tears Hwy to Memphis for Blues and BBQ on famous Beale Street. Home of the blues and the birthplace of rock and roll. This day offers the best of the rolling hills and wooded areas of Tennessee.

  • Cruise on down south to Jackson, Mississippi where Johnny Cash was always running off to. While in Jackson, visit Johnny T’s Bistro & Blues F. Jones Corner and/or the Underground for deep south local entertainment. Poindexter Park boasts many Historic sites from the Civil War and the Civil Rights Movement. You will know without doubt you are in the heart of Dixie.

  • Jump back on Natchez Trace to the Mississippi River in Natchez, MS. Follow the river valley down to Baton Rouge before arriving in New Orleans. You will be reminded of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn as you gaze across the mighty Mississippi. You won’t believe the French Quarter and available entertainment in New Orleans. Remember Easy Rider?

  • From New Orleans, we ride northwest to Shreveport to see all that Louisiana offers in southern culture. On the way, you’ll pass by Kisatchie National Forest and Peason Ridge Wildlife Management Area. These magnificent back roads sport many a rebel flag and 4x4s, it’s all part of the deep south lifestyle.

  • Heading north from Shreveport, we enter the Ozark Mountains. Get ready to ride some incredible winding roads on the way to Bikes, Blues and BBQ in Fayetteville. This event is the largest women, children and underserved persons’ charity event in the country. Along the way pass through Quachita National Forest and have lunch in Hot Springs. By the time the ride gets to Hot Springs there will be no doubt that a Rally is in full swing with bikes everywhere. Ride into Fayetteville along with hundreds of other bikers.

  • Enjoy concerts, food, vendors and bikes galore. Spend your time at the event, or take a day trip with your guide to Eureka Springs for a look at a very cool Ozark Mountain town. Plus, it’s a great ride there and back. Another day trip offers a chance to explore some of the best roads this area offers. Check out the Silver Dollar City for some real western fun.

  • Ride through Hot Springs, Arkansas and Branson, Missouri on the way to Bass Pro Shops huge home base location. This is a must see! Ride for a couple hours and enjoy lunch before going east by the Mark Twain National forest and into Sikeston, MO near the Mississippi River. One of many wonders in Sikeston is Lambert’s Café, the home of “Throwed Rolls.” Come hungry and stay awhile. This is a long afternoon ride though some extraordinary back country farm roads in Southern Missouri.
